Gerardo Martino’s Argentina will face Chile this Saturday, 4th of July 4 in the game that will decide the winner of the tournament. After 28 years, the Chilean national team made it to the final of Copa America 2015. Last time around they were beaten in 1987 by Uruguay. This year, it all depends on them, the cup is theirs to lose as they play in front of their home ground.

Chile managed to win four games and draw one, losing none. The hosts have scored thirteen goals and conceded four. These are solid numbers for a finalist of the continental competition. However, they might not be enough for them to overcome Argentina who have only conceded three goals in two matches, while keeping a clean sheet in the other three, obviously losing none of their games. The Albiceleste are seeking their fifteenth Copa America title which will put them on par with Uruguay (15 titles), as they reached the final for the first time after eight years.

Argentina’s win puts their national team ahead of Germany in the FIFA rankings which will be released on the 9th of July.  The Southern American team has reached the podium for the eleventh time in its history. They even have the chance to widen the gap between them and the world cup champions by winning the final match against Chile.

Arturo Vidal has enjoyed club success at Juventus, the same goes to Lionel Messi but the two are now eyeing the trophy as they aim to become part of their nation’s history. The game is unpredictable, one team is the host, the other has the best squad around, all we have to do is watch and enjoy the match and hope for a spectacle, maybe in the next edition you can travel with Fly-Foot to support your team.
